Shevchenko Park

This is a green oasis in the midst of an urban jungle. What could be better than the old park that was laid in the late 18th century? Some of its trees are 150 – 200 years old. There are over 160 kinds of trees and bushes, a lot of which are exotic, imported from North America, the Far East and southern Europe. Feel like a real duke near the manse of the Lyubomirsky dukes, which is situated in the middle of the park. Recently, ancient underground passages that reliably hide the secrets of the past were found in the park. It seems that every corner there is reminiscent of past times.

"Lebedynka" (Youth Park ), The Swan Lake and the open air Museum of forged sculptures

Indeed majestic and unique metal sculptures are located in the heart of the city. Metal compositions such as "The Heart" and “Swan in Love” have always attracted romantic couples. The Swan Lake, where real swans, seagulls and ducks live, adds a special romantic aura. This is a great place to relax after a hard-working day or for a romantic walk with your beloved.

Saint Anthony's Church and the Organ Hall

This is one of the most prominent architectural monuments in Rivne. The church has a long and interesting history. It was built in 1548 on the site of a wooden Catholic church. This temple was built by women twice, and it was destroyed twice by men. In 1958, the Soviet authorities did everything possible to close Saint Anthony's Church. Since the late 1960's, the cinema "Globus" has been there. And since the 1980's, the Organ Hall has been functioning here. Concerts are still held there. The incredible sounds of the organ fascinate. The acoustics in the building of the church are extraordinary.

Rivne Zoo

The collection of the zoo includes 200 species of animals, and it is constantly increasing. This is a great place to relax with family. The zoo is located on the territory of an old orchard and forest area of 4.7 hectares. Every year, about 30 species of animals are born here. There are also animals that are unique to the territory of Ukraine. Rivne Zoo is considered to be one of the best in Ukraine.

Amber Museum

Rivne is considered to be the amber capital in Ukraine. Therefore, the only Amber museum in Ukraine is located here. There are some truly unique exhibits in the Rivne museum: pieces of amber weighing about 2kg and stones that are over 40 million years old. The stones, in which different insects are trapped, the so called inclusions, are of special value. In general, you can see a great variety of amber exhibits, starting with decorations and ending with cutlery.

Dubno Caslte and Tarakanivky Fort

One of the oldest and most interesting buildings of the Rivne region is the castle of the Ostroh Dukes in Dubno. The castle's foundation date is 1492. The palace complex of the castle consists of two palaces that are opposite each other across the courtyard. The Lubomirski dukes palace is in the northern part of the castle yard, and the Ostrozhsky dukes palace is in the south. The castle was stormed many times, but never conquered.

At the beginning of the 20th century, the fort in the village of Tarakaniv was an extremely powerful and functional structure. The three above ground and four underground floors, electricity and telephone, 3 garrison companies and 50 powerful artillery made it an impregnable fortress.

After the Second World War, the fort was used mainly for storage, but because of the excessive humidity on the premises and the reluctance to invest in heating, this application was also abandoned. Before the Second World War, the NKVD chekists blew up the basement floors, so now there is practically no access. And although in the construction is concrete, the fort is now slowly being destroyed and waiting for its second birth.

Ostroh Castle

A unique castle in Eastern Europe. It is interesting, because it is the only one-storeyed residential castle which has survived to the present day. The castle has an interesting 5-century history. It served as a cultural center for a long time. This place is the cradle of the Ukrainian elite of modern times.

Tunnel of Love

One of the most romantic places in the whole world! The Tunnel of love is a botanical phenomenon. Trees and bushes that surrounds the railroad track form an incredibly beautiful tunnel that attracts tourists from all over the world!

It is believed if a couple in love can make a wish there and if the love is real then it will come true.

Nadsluchanskyy regional landscape park

Nadsluchanskyy regional landscape park is a real natural wonder, a charming corner which is steeped in legends. The medieval Hubkiv castle has survived on the slopes of the "Falcon Mountains". The waters of the Sluch River cut 35-meter-high mountains here, creating a sense of complete unity with nature. The park's area is also great for relaxing, outdoor activities and auxiliary crafts, for example picking berries and mushrooms, as well as fishing.
